Blended Learning

Blended learning is a method of learning that combine e-learning with face-to-face learning. This is the effective way to alternate face-to-face learning if it is difficult to be held because of time and place.
This method is flexible because it is not limited with time and place and not focused just on face-to-face learning. If face-to-face learning can not be held, the students can access the information from their teacher on internet.
Both the students and the teacher can get many benefits through this method. Blended learning can make the easier way to learn by the students and also allows the students to get the better need. They are more engaged using online content than paper-and-pencil worksheet, they can get real time feedback, they can know where they stand so that they can control how fast or slow they need to go through the class. In addition, students can accelerate specific skill and have more attempts to have more interaction with teachers. The teachers can accommodate various kind of learning style and they can providing the students more time for reflection. They feel easier to plan the instruction, easier classroom management, and they found that teaching small group is more rewarding since students are more engaged. So, the teacher and their students can evaluate the process in learning.
This below are the models of Blended Learning:
·      Face-to-Face Driver
Face-to-face teachers deliver most of the curriculum. A physical teacher employs online learning in a technology lab or the back of the classroom to supplement.
·      Rotation
Within a given course, students rotate on a fixed schedule between self-paced online learning and sitting in a classroom with a face-to-face teacher.
·      Flex
An online platform delivers most of the curriculum. Teachers provide on-site, as-needed support through in-person tutoring or small group sessions.
·      Online Lab
An online platform delivers the entire course, but in a brick-and-mortar location often students who participate in an online lab program also take traditional courses.
·      Self-Blend
Students choose to take remote online courses to supplement their school’s traditional curriculum. This model of blended learning is extremely popular among high school students.
·      Online Driver
An online platform and teacher deliver all the curriculum. Students work remotely and face-to-face check-ins are either available or mandatory.
In my opinion, this is good method to applied in Indonesian School because the students not only get the input for one side but also from another side such as Internet.

ICT Assignment

                                     Global Education Network

Nowadays in globalization era, everything has connected globally. Wherever and whenever we are, we can get many information from global by technology. And it is more efficient and effective way to do anything than to come to that place.
Global technology is the effective way to improve our knowledge, skill, and many more. By this technology, we can search for everything we want. Not only the good one but also the bad one. Because in global technology there are both of them. We have to filter all that we absorb from it. It will be better to recognise the global technology to the students in the early age because in that age, they can easily absorb what they learn. If they learn through the global technology, they can get many information on it. They also will learn about the concepts of diversity, multiculturalism, and multilingualism. Which is can not be learn without interaction with different people and culture in the world.
The contribution of technology in education system through global education system is very big. Technology has the power to breakdown geographical, economical, language, and time-zone barriers. Now, to improve the process of learning, the students have not to worry about the distance. Even if the distance is the far, the students can join the process of learning through the internet.
Since we live in the globalization era, we have to develop cooperative relationships based on communications. Peer-to-Peer Video conferencing offers opportunities to increase communication skills and language learning. It  also creates the opportunity for students to build an international network of friends and contacts. A global contact network can be built if the students have the personal conversations with other students around the world.  That contact can be useful in their life. They can be found the job, develop their business, get knowledge of the other countries, and so on.
